    Kombucha you can!

    Kombucha. It’s one of those fermented foods I have been dying to try since I first heard about it. Since we are currently stuck in a rental waiting for our house to sell with no gardening to do and no curling to keep us occupied all winter, now seems like the perfect time to explore how to culture this fermented effervescent drink. Two weekends ago at the Peter Anderson festival I picked up this fun, decorated, opaque “water cooler” from Beth Sartin art.
